24.09.02 Kansas City, MO, intro to ‘Born in the U.S.A’
‘‘Just want to, uh….thank you again for coming out tonight, we appreciate your support ….and, uh, just a couple of public service announcements, once again the Harvesters’ Foodbank is, is out in the hall tonight on your way out, please stop and check them out…. and second is just a little heads up, we’re in the midst of a rollback of Civil Rights right now, you know, Civil Rights are a reaffirmation of our strength as a nation of laws, due process… don’t usually think about these things until it’s too late or till it comes knocking on our door….and uh….it’s a good time to be very vigilant, a lot of war talk in the air and it’s really never served this country well to rush in to war without a good democratic debate on it… please be vigilant, that vigilance and responsibility comes with the turf when you´re born in the U.S.A….”
