´´Gut euch zu sehen….hello, Hamburg….(?)….it’s good to see you….always a pleasure to be here with you, I have old memories of coming here the first time, uh….it was the first show we did the second time we came to Europe when we were (?) 30 years old (chuckles) 1980, good memories…but, uh, anyway….bitte etwas Ruhe fur die nächsten zwei Songs, danke….”

(cheers)….because I want to introduce you to the greatest little houseband in all the land….on the piano, we’ve got the peripatetic piano-pounding Professore, Professor Roy Bittan….on the violin and vocals, out of New York City, we’ve got Sister Soozie Tyrell….on the guitar, keeper of all that is righteous down on E Street, Silvio Dante, Little Steven Van Zandt on the guitar….on the bass guitar, we’ve got the man that puts the bass in your face, that bring the thunder from down under night after night, the Tennesee Terror, Mr.Garry W.Tallent….on the drums, we’ve got the Minister of the big beat, we’ve got the Secretary of syncopation, the man that bring the power hour after hour, night after night after night and star of ´Late Night (crowd : ´Television´) Mighty Max Weinberg….on the guitar, we’ve got one of the greatest guitarists in rock and roll, Brother Nils Lofgren….on the organ, we’ve got the mystery man, the mystery man of the band, on the organ and accordion, Brother Dan Federici…..to the far side of the stage….we’ve got the First Lady of love, on guitar and vocals and my sweetie baby honey child, Miss Patti Scialfa .…let’s get it on….when I’ve got that feeling, I need sexual healing (chuckles)….we’re all sensitive people….yeah baby (chuckles)….and last but not least….last but not least….do I have to say his name ?….do I have to say his name ?….do I have to say his name ?…. ´´Thank you….thank you very much….oh, I wanna thank everybody for coming out to the show tonight, thank you….we, uh….oh, second time we came to Europe was 1980, we hadn´t, I think we came for only a few shows in 1975, we were very nervous, I always remember, and the first place we played was a small place here in Hamburg….and uh….we were just greeted very warmly by the audience and it’s been wonderful over, over here for us ever since so I wanna say, uh, ich danke Hamburg und (cheers)(chuckles) yes….ich danke Hamburg und Deutschland fur eure (?) unsere Musik, thank you…..”
