exorcisers….on the piano, Professor Roy Bittan….on the violin, Sister Soozie Tyrell….on the guitar, the coolest little dj in the U.S.A, Little Steven….on the bass, Mr.Garry W.Tallent…. on the drums, the man that bring the power hour after hour night after night and star of ´Late Night (crowd : ´Television´) Mighty Max Weinberg….on the guitar, Brother Nils Lofgren…. on the organ and accordion, man of mystery, Brother Dan Federici…..on the guitar and vocals, the First Lady of love, Miss Patti Scialfa.…and last but not least….last but not least, Minister of soul, Secretary of the brotherhood….you wish you could be like him but you can´t….I wanna say it´s time, it´s time, it´s time to impeach the President and get somebody in there that´ll get us out of this mess, I´m talking about Big Man Clarence Clemons…. impeach, impeach !….(chuckles)….I want you to put your hands together….for the heartstopping, pants-dropping, houserocking, earth-shaking, booty-quaking, Viagra-taking, lovemaking, history-making, death-defying, sexifying, exorcising, legendary E Street Band…. did I mention history-making, sexifying ?….that´s right….´´

13.09.03 Washington D.C, intro to ´My City of Ruins´
´´Thank you….thanks, I wanna thank everyone for coming out to the show tonight, thank you very much….we´ve had, uh, two great shows here in Washington, you guys´ve been a hell of an audience both times, this was our second show of the tour and tonight is our 110th (chuckles) we ain´t done yet (chuckles) but uh, I wanna thank you all for your support of our music over all these years, we, we appreciate it and we´ll try to continue serving you well and uh….we´ll do this next song for the folks in the building from the Capital Area Foodbank, Capital Area Foodbank, they provide food to other (?) relief organizations here in Washington and suburban Maryland and in northern Virginia….they have several programs aimed to ending childhood hunger (?) if you see them out there tonight, please provide some assistance, your time or your support to the Capital Area Foodbank, this is for them….they´re good folks doing a good work…..´´

13.09.03 Washington D.C, intro to ´Born in the U.S.A´
´´Thank you, once again I wanna thank everyone for coming out…..I want to, uh….say that we get people of all different kinds of political beliefs coming to our show and I like that, we welcome everybody….maybe with the exception of Dick Cheney, I´m not sure (chuckles) but there´s, uh….there´s been a lot of questions raised recently about the forthrightness of our government, I just wanna say that playing with the truth during wartime has been a part of Democratic and Republican administrations in the past, it´s always wrong when the lives of our sons and our daughters are on the line and I think the question of whether we were misled into the war in Iraq isn´t a Liberal or a Conservative question, it´s an American one, protecting the democracy we ask our sons and daughters to die for is our sacred trust, as is demanding accountability from our leaders, that is our job as citizens, it´s time to be very, very vigilant out there….so, uh….may the truth will out…..´´
