(crowd cheers) alright …here’s a song called “Livin’ in the future”…but it’s about what’s happening now…now, back home where we come from, along with all the things that we’re proud of, we’ve had to add to the American picture things like rendition and illegal wiretapping, rolling-back of fundamental civil liberties…these are all things that when I was a little boy, my parents always told me only happen someplace else …so this is a song about watching people sleep through changes that should not have, that should not have been allowed…help me tell the story, Max…”
