Intro to “Spirit in the Night”
“There was a lake outside of my little hometown…and there was a rumor that in the woods…that surrounded that lake…there was a creature…and this creature was…part human…part devil…had long hooves…head of a goat…horns…long tail…and this lake was where everybody’d go to park Friday and Saturday…sometimes…it meant that…(?)…if you’re sitting there…trying to get on with your girlfriend…all the frustration…all the long blue ball drives home (laughs from the crowd) but sometimes…sometimes…you’d hear…Can you feel the spirit?
