The Palacio de Congresos in Madrid, Spain, was opened in 1970. It is attached to the Ministry of Industry of the Government. It is located on Paseo de la Castellana, number 99, on the block formed by General Perón Avenue, Poeta Joan Maragall Street, and Manolete Square. In its vicinity is the Santiago Bernabéu stadium and the Azca financial zone. The facade along General Perón Avenue features a large tile mural, created by ceramist Llorens Artigas according to the original design of Joan Miró, which was installed in 1980.
