YOU'RE MISSING V3	5:10	RISING

Note: "You're Missing" was the second song Bruce wrote after 9/11, after "Into The Fire". He brought a demo (V1) to Atlanta in fall 2001 to play for Brendan O'Brien, who made various suggestions for restructuring the song; Bruce recorded a second demo (V2) on the spot. The album version (V3) was recorded during the first set of sessions for The Rising at Southern Tracks, Atlanta, in January 2002. Soozie Tyrell contributes violin and background vocals; Larry Lemaster and Jere Flint play the cello. The song also features the Nashville String Machine, whose part was recorded separately and overdubbed.
