Springsteen held recording sessions at his home studio throughout 2018 and into 2019 at which various overdubs were completed for much of the material ultimately released on Western Stars, Twilight Hours, and the rest of Tracks II: The Lost Albums. A few new songs were also recorded at these sessions, including "September Kisses". The sessions took place throughout the period; we have combined them in this listing for convenience pending more specific information. During the preparation of Tracks II, Bruce came across "Janey Needs A Shooter" and, at some point, recorded it with the E Street Band for a possible Record Store Day release. He was so impressed by the result that he decided to hold onto it for a higher-profile occasion, which arrived on 2020's Letter To You; we have listed that session here for convenience, but its actual timing is unknown.
